2026 Invitational

The 2026 MIT Science Bowl Invitational will take place on Saturday, November 14th, and registration is open! Sign up your team here by September 30: forms.gle/2RpvudHspbEnrGGi6.

The 2025 High School Invitational saw 48 high school teams from 17 states around the country compete! Given the success of last year’s invitational, we are excited to welcome you all back for another year of in-person competition. Like last year, we are expecting a team of 4-5 students accompanied by a coach or chaperone. The invitational will feature Round Robin and Double Elimination rounds with questions written by Science Bowl alumni, along with Wildcard rounds for all teams eliminated during the morning competition.

Expected Schedule

Morning (8:00am-12:00pm)

• 8:00am-8:30am: Team Check-In

• 8:30am-8:55am: Opening Remarks

• 9:00am-12:00pm: Round Robin

Lunch (12:00pm-1:00pm)

Afternoon (1:00pm-8:00pm)

• 1:00pm-7:30pm: Double Elimination

  • 6:30pm-7:30pm: Finals

• 7:30pm-8:00pm: Closing Remarks & Awards
